| These pictures are of former Hahn
Air Base, West Germany, which was closed in 1993.
I have tried to sort the pictures in the most logical way I could think of. I do realize that several pictures would actually fit into more than one category. I know that quite a few buildings had different usages during the time Hahn existed, but there is no way I can list them all with all the pictures. (i.e. Junior High School = Elementary 4th-6th, CBPO etc.) The comments on the pictures were written at the time the picture was taken, so there might be a slightly different story with it at present day. It would be next to impossible to keep all of the comments up to date. I would like to thank my mother, Erika, who wrote most of the comments in the 1997 pictures. Hahn, Deutschland der in 1993 geschlossen wurde.
Ich habe versucht die Bilder so logisch wie möglich zu sortieren, obwohl mir klar ist, dass einige Bilder in mehrere Kategorien passen würden. Ich weiss, dass einige Gebäude verschiedene Zwecke hatten während Hahn existierte, aber ich kann sie nicht alle mit allen Bildern aufführen (z.B. Junior High School = Elementary 4th-6th, CBPO etc.) Die jeweiligen Kommentare wurden zum Zeitpunkt des Fotos geschrieben, so dass es Abweichungen geben kann zum heutigem Tag. Es wäre unmöglich die Kommentare aktuell zu halten. Ich möchte auch meine Mutter, Erika, danken, die die meisten Kommentare für die Bilder von 1997 geschrieben hat.
